I can't say for sure. I tried to keep the shutter speed to 1/200 or faster to avoid shutter vibration and the f-stop at f4.0 for increased DOF. However, I don't like going above ISO400, the setting for this shot, so the f-stop could have been much lower than 4. The convention hall had what seemed like thousands of brilliant lights, but I remember shooting many shots at 1.4 while I was there. AP

Nice rendering. I'm guessing at 2.8 or f4 :)

I wanted to respond earlier, but couldn't find the comment button for some reason. When I first saw Jorge's comment I was quite eager to explain the subject was aware of the shot because it is a picture of myself that I asked my wife to shoot for me after I'd taken a picture of her. The odd thing about it is that it is when of the few photos where I look my age, thanks to the beard and the lighting, and that's why I get a kick out of it. AP

LOL. :) I meant it as a joke. I was waiting for Andrew to reply.

torralba, if I understand correctly the photo title, this is a self portrait, so basically Paquart was shooting at himself and chance are he knew he was taking a pictures... :)
