April 15th, 2014 Blood Moon on Tamron 800

Thanks Torralba, for the comment and everything else you do. I had thin clouds and light pollution too, but the resolution of the A7r still squeezed in more detail than my Nikon's sensor would have. I payed the price for staying out so late for those shots though with some sniffles lingering into this Easter Weekend.

Geneva car show 2014

I can't say for sure. I tried to keep the shutter speed to 1/200 or faster to avoid shutter vibration and the f-stop at f4.0 for increased DOF. However, I don't like going above ISO400, the setting for this shot, so the f-stop could have been much lower than 4. The convention hall had what seemed like thousands of brilliant lights, but I remember shooting many shots at 1.4 while I was there.

One of the most underrated lenses out there. I love the Sony 35mm 1.4 at f1.7 or above it rocks!
